When travelling, it's important to pack light. With the 50lb weight limit on your checked luggage, those pounds can add up quick! But you shouldn't have to sacrifice style, or the perfect makeup look for it! You're going to be taking tons of photos on your trips, and you want to make sure you look your best! Luckily, makeup Companies have thought ahead of the game, and have created gorgeous multitasking makeup products for a variety of budgets that can accommodate for multiple steps of the makeup process--all in one compact palette! Here are some of my top picks:
1. TheBalm In The Balm of Your Hand Volume 2-$31.99
I currently own this palette, and I absolutely love it! This was the only face and eye palette I brought on a recent trip to Italy, and it gave me everything I needed. What I love about this palette specifically is that it includes not 1 but 3 of their top-selling blush shades as well as their classic Bahama Mama bronzer and Mary-Lou Manizer. This palette is a budget-friendly compact tool that will complete any travel makeup kit! Buy it on Amazon here.
2. Stilla Perfect Me, Perfect Hue Eye & Cheek Palette- $39.00
This palette is the smallest in size on this list but really can pack a punch! This multitasking product will give you 5 eyeshadows and 2 blush colors, giving you a perfectly coordinated look with each use. Also, this palette comes in 3 different colors to compliment a variety of skin tones, something you don't see all that often in eye and cheek palettes! Buy it on Amazon here.
3. Makeup Revolution x The Emily Edit-The Needs Face & Eye Palette-$15.00
I absolutely love Emily Noel. She's an inspiration to me as a Beauty Blogger and as a person--genuine, honest, and truly passionate about the work she does. So when I saw she was collaborating with Makeup Revolution, I knew I had to pick up her palettes. Her Needs Palette is one of the best budget-friendly multitasking palettes on the market to date, giving us everything from eyeshadows to blush to a gorgeous highlighter. This also provides you with enough variety to create multiple looks in one easy, slim, lightweight package. Buy it on Ulta here.
4. Tarte Clay Play Face Shaping Palette Volume 2-$45.00
This Tarte palette is for the traveler looking for some variety in one multitasking palette. This palette will give you just that with 12 flattering shades: 6 matte shades, 3 shimmer shades, a blush, a bronzer, and a highlighter (phew), all with their famous Amazonian clay formula which is super long lasting--perfect for those hot travel days. Buy it on Ulta here.
5. Urban Decay Backtalk Eye & Face Palette-$41.00
This palette is along the same lines as the Tarte palette, geared for the traveler looking for some variety, but this gorgeous palette provides you with deeper, rich mauve tones--perfect for strolling the streets on an evening in Roma! Based around Urban Decay's bestselling Vice Lipstick shade, Backtalk has 8 shadow options, 4 blush/highlighter options, and a double-sided removable mirror! Buy it on Amazon here.
6. Too Faced Sugar Peach Wet & Dry Face & Eye Palette-$39.99
I have to admit, it was the packaging that drew me in to this palette initially. I'm a sucker for cute packaging... especially Too Faced cute packaging. However I was pleasantly surprised when the quality of this palette was as top-notch as it is! This palette is for the traveler looking for some glow in their look, giving you four shade options which can be used wet or dry on the face or eyes. What I love is the (surprising) variety I found in using this palette. I have used all of the shades as one-shadow eye looks on multiple occasions, and each shade is super flattering on the cheeks as well used with a brush or sponge. Buy it on Amazon here.
